Uche David is a Design Technologist based in London, UK. Currently a Product Designer at S&P Global in Moorgate, London.

Born in the UK in 1990 Uche David has lived and worked in London, Paris, Munich and New York. Presently presiding in London again where he has worked for clients such as S&P Global, Bank of America, Microsoft, Samsung, Allianz GmbH, Airbus and Afrexim Bank to name a few.

Uche David Studied Computer Science at the University of Hull. Specialising in Web Design and Development. In addition to study he has exhibited artistic tech projects with Kutler Gallerij Amsterdam, Wearable Technology Conference London and hosted audiences at Google Campus London.

S&P Global

2022 – Current

S&P Global needs no introduction in the financial world. Its flagship product, The S&P 500 is the yard stick used for all traders to ‘beat the market’ in the investment world.

As a Product Designer going through there largest rebrand for the largest acquisition in the firms history. I was responsible for implementing a new design system and data design language across the S&P and merged IHS Markit products.

These redesigns the team implemented directly saved the firm $6 billion per annum due to regulations requirements and indirectly benefited the $44 billion successful M&A.

Bank of America

2021 – 2022

As a Senior UI Designer, I enhanced the user experience and migrated a next iteration of the Angular 10 frontend framework.

During my time with Bank of America It was a pleasure to work with the Dallas office in there Internal Platforms Department

In my free time

Outside of work, I’m active in the Art, Food and Drink communities. I currently own a boutique sparkling wine brand which supplies many events and restaurants globally including multiple Michelin star restaurants (3).

My other interests include giving lectures and workshops on Design Technology, Product Design and User Expereince. Especially in Wearable Technology, Gesture control design for systems and Data design (Financial and Geographical).

I have a keen interest in designing human-centric products and applications for positive applications. Computing efficiency as an extension of user capabilities and a digital plane which is beneficial to its participant.
